the adventures of molli

so, at some point i stumbled on a blog while i was hitting the next blog button. i actually think it may have been in june or july of last year, which was not too long after the blog started.

the blog was something completely foreign to me. it was a tad bizarre. yet, it was also compelling. i just kept checking in somewhat regularly to see the new posts. but, i never really wanted to share it with anyone else. it was my own little strange place to watch. when a friend moved to atlanta, where the blog seems to be from, i thought about telling her. but didn't.

but now i will. i will share it with you, in hopes that it will also give you an odd little pleasure.

i present to you...
the adventures of molli.

yes. it's about a doll, narrated by her. a little one. and her doll sister. she talks about where the "mom" took them, and all sorts of details.

but very interesting.

By interesting, you mean disturbing, right? That was scary.

Well it is creative, and a little to the left of normal with a dash of kooky but it is strangely intriguing. It makes me want to meet this person, maybe just from afar though.

I'm the "mom" of Molli, the doll. I'm in my late 20s and am in the media industry.

So I am always surprised to find out who reads the blog. Interesting to stumble upon yours.

Hope it's entertaining. And I hope your friend likes Atlanta so far.

the dolls are fabulously cute, though.

cool that you tracked back here. i've really enjoyed it, even it's a bit odd to me. it's been fun reading about different trips, cupcakes, and everything else.

and, i'm still a bit amazed about this subculture that's out there that i would have never imagined existed.

i don't know why i was curious one day and just googled "adventures molli" to see who's linked to me out there. most of the results were people i already knew, so it was interesting to find a new reader out there.

yeah, i don't really remember how i stumbled upon blythe, but it was something totally overnight and online. there's a lot of crossover with blythe and the craft community that i like to read about.

hopefully, i'll be able to think of post topics that are a little more broad and are more generally entertaining for non-blythe collectors.

later and take care!
