here's further proof that walmart is fundamentally corrupt: they have a clause in their shabby health care policies for workers that says if you're using their health care, win a settlement (not against them) they can sue you for your winnings.
and they will do it and win. fine print.

Meh... Can't say that I agree. Not that I'm a fan of Wal-Mart's business policies, but I can't fault them so much here. After reading the story, and presuming that the settlement was intended to compensate the lady for medical expenses incurred as a result of the trucking company's fault, then Wal-Mart it pretty rightfully due reimbursement for the expenses they paid for the lady's care. Frankly, considering that they paid for her care regarding an injury that was completely not of their doing and without guarantee of repayment, how can you fault them?
