Yeah I am more impressed with your average number of visitors. Anyone can keep a blog for 4 years, but not nearly as many can keep a blog people actually read. Well done.
as for the so what, it's fair. everyone is entitled to have opinions and ask questions. and, it may not have even been intended to sound negatively.
in all honesty, i wrote this post like two weeks ago, and had intentions of writing up a more reflective piece over these last few years and what i was still hoping to do with the blog. but, as things happen, i got sidetracked, but the post was set to auto post in the future. the future came today. oops. i did change a few words after i saw it was up, but at this point i'm not looking to write a more extensive post.
so, what's next for me?
a monday hiaku, some yard work, and then we'll see what happens after that.
btw, the hits to the blog around the time of the anonymous comment all stem from friend blog sites and exit to other friend blog sites. so, someone that reads that set of blogs left the comment.
well, i'm not saying it's a great question or an in depth critique, but someone can ask it. they could've also said meh and i would have felt about the same about it.

im coming up w/ 39.600 (including my visit) visitors per day. pretty strong average for that stretch, and the day has just begun.

Congrats on the 4 years, sir!
thanks for the congratulations and what not.

and i love the suggestions from the fresnan. maybe for the fifth birthday.
I don't see that it's a valid question without more elaboration. If it's a joke, cool. If it's someone just being a dick, why bother?

I understand your ambivalence.
I just don't understand the motive. Why bother commenting at all; putting any effort into effectively saying you don't care?
To me, it's like saying, "I'd like to stand up here and make the comment that I have no comment."
i made the comment, it was in jest. let it go already. i guess this stuff is not as important to me as it is you guys.
