so how's the weather?
last night, we saw some flashes in the sky but figured it was some street light or something on the fritz. maybe it was lightning. i've seen quite a bit this morning. it's muggy as all get out, and it smells like rain. not too sure if it has rained, but i know the forecast is still for 107. ugh.

Yes it was a very good light show this morning but yeah hot as hell, I felt like I was in the south. I havent seen much rain though either. In any case at least there is a change in the weather, it has been hot and sunny for about 3 months now.
i know we've had some rain over @ my work. i'm looking out the window, dying to go out and smell the air, feel it all. to take in that sense of clean that happens after a summer rain.
but, alas, i'm inside. torturing myself by looking out a window.
i think the next time i get coffee i'll just step out there for a second.
I just got to run errands with the windows down, it was niiiice! I am ready for fall.
I've been working in it all day and it's been fantastic! The shop is a nice mingling of cut lumber and wet asphault and ozone from outside. Good stuff.
You know you are from Fresno when rain is an event that makes everyone giddy with happiness.
I beg to differ. A lot of people here hate the rain. It's the thunder and lightning that seem to be enthralling everyone around me today.
Just wait, when it gets cold and rainy, people will be practically begging for triple digits. Fresno is so frickin' manic.
but adam, what you're talking about is a little different than rain being an event. i mean, you're right, and people will whine about the weather in the late winter/early spring when we get a more rain. but, a summer rain like this, few complain about.
except maybe grape farmers.
and me, if it doesn't stop in the next half hour and i have to ride home in it.

I went outside during the rain and it sucked. Not only am I getting soaked but it smelled liked auto oil.
