this lovely little one is in a pretty early stage. well, there are layers underneath, but it's far from where i see it being finished. it's going to be another piece based off of trying to capture the essence of the tower district.

I like where the "all singing" one has gone. The darkness and the smoothness of the background. The more detailed and careful lettering on the left finished with the more disheartened, scrawled lettering on the right. I was checking that one out last time I was over, I think the only difference was that you hadn't gone over the words on the right with that lavender looking color.
yeah. i did that yesterday. i think it'll have a third color yet. but i definately like the smoothed out background color much better.
haven't decided if the figure will be as pronounced as it was in the original
