in this one, conan got william shatner to recite sarah palin's farewell speech like a beat poem. brilliant.



but really, that was her speech? what the eff? bizarre.

i'm a little suspicious of stuff on the internet sometimes, and so i can't guarantee that everything about this video is true. the additional audio could have been dubbed in, and of course the words on the screen have been added by the original poster

if that video is accurate, and you're a politician making that speech you know to stop right there, go off your script, and condemn such language.

especially in light of stories like this one.

um, wow. i don't know if it's rat's on a sinking ship, but listen to these two republican speech writers talk about the choice of palin for vp, thinking that their mics weren't on. let's just say that the language is a little salty, and maybe they're not for her as vp.
