so i usually watch a little of the morning news before i head off to work. fresno's abc 30 had a pretty decent team, and their traffic and weather every 10 minutes provides a reminder of what time it is and how long until i leave for work.
today, they were giving some strategies of how to keep cool from the fresno heat over the upcoming week. that's helpful, i guess. their solution, go to the coast where it's cooler.
oh really? that's your solution? go somewhere else?

Wow. How about something slightly less expensive like say...going to a movie or hanging out at your local air conditioned coffee shop? Ridiculous.
those tv folks must be a bunch of douchebags. i prefer telling people to hang out on fax buses. you meet some fine people and if you can read, you'll have plenty of time to read all about the coast.
well, to be fair, this is a regular thing they do, tell you ways to beat the heat. usually i think they're supposed to be inexpensive options. this one just seemed a bit asinine.
I find it more funny that they give us beat the heat tips at all, as if this is the first time anyone in Fresno has experienced heat over 100 degrees.
Its sooo hot. I know, I am going to turn on the local news, they will know what to do! Drink a lot of water and stay inside, why didnt I think of that??
