in the next few days i'll post pics from my pennsylvania adventure.
one final plane thought: i love how everyone jumps up asap, only to have to stand in the aisle.

word. it bugs me to no end how people will cut in front of you to get ON the plane only to get on the plane earlier (?) and then also try to cut you off and rush past you to get off the bastard. I tend to stand up with everyone else, and then make sure everyone in front of me gets to rise, take their bag and exit in order of their seat.
I make a great benevolent dictator, whenever I get the chance.
And it's not like you can stand comfortably unless you're in the aisle.
It's just a bunch of people half standing but mostly hunched, trying to avoid hitting their head on the overhead compartments.
Ugh. We just got in from CA this morning, 6:30 our time. The Chicago weather really screwed up our flight (we were taking a plane coming in from there) so we were delayed until 2:45am in Atlanta. That experience is the closest I know to being a political refugee.
It is because of those stupid people who have to stand up that I get clausterphobic on planes. I feel like they are closing in on me and it freaks me out.
See and I love standing up as soon as I can one, because my legs are usually screaming for me to stretch them and two, because I like to scooch out in front of the people who struggled for 5 minutes getting their oversized carry-on in the overhead compartment and I just know they'll do the same when they try to get it down.
I wish they'd ban those damn rolly suitcases for carry-on.
I also love being contrarian.
Ed, did you go to the Creamery and get some Peachy Paterno?!
no, i had sort of wanted to, but we also wanted to get to our destination.
I just hate seeing the senior citizens get edged out by a bluetooth prick because they were half a second behind the curve. Protecting the hunchbacks, that's me.
BTW, Fresso'a airport is so nice now. Used to be crap, but I like it a lot these days. If you get the big beer, they give you a shot of whatever you want for like a buck. Rock on!
