something strange
one of my friends referenced something i'd never heard of the other day, the pubic wig. wha? huh? we had intended to look into it, but forgot. so, today, i went to wiki. and, ta-da! click here to read an interesting history of the merkin.
when we were first talking about this i think i said gerkin, and you said "that's a pickle"...but at least i feel that i was on the right track. the pink merkin on your connection link reminded me of cotton candy.
I loved that I opened that link at my office and my dad was standing behind me and saw it and it soon became the hot topic throughout the office. As if I wasn't the office weirdo before, I have definitely clinched the title with that one. Awesome.

There is a band I like called "The Merkin Dream" I always assumed it was a play on American, but this adds another layer to the humor.
