so, i saw an interesting story on fresno famous. there was going to be a peta protest over @ fig garden village today. they offered $5 to the first person to upload some photos to their flicker group. i thought, "i'm not doing anything @ this second, why not cruise over there and shoot a few pics?" so i hopped on the bike and did. on the way home, i thought i'd catch some video of me driving my vegas, and so i did that too. it's not the greatest, but it's interesting. there's a few seconds where i reach over with my left hand and grab the camera so it's steady.

Did you have the wrist band around your right wrist and let it hang most of the time? I can't see how you were working the throttle and holding the camera at the same time with your right hand.

hey, it was a hyundia that i "nudged."
and yes, the camera was dangling on the wrist strap around my right wrist. so, i could accelerate and it seemed like it was staying somewhat forward facing. but, as i got going a bit, it started spinning, so i grabbed it (not much traffic ahead). as i needed to slow down i let it go.
as for the five $, not sure. i didn't really realize that they had worded it that way until i was uploading the photos. i just thought i'd do it for the challenge, and to see where they were protesting. i figured it would be @ one particular store, not right on the corner. damn near almost had tons of accidents about to happen as everyone slowed to gawk. so, if they pay me, cool. if not, whatever.
Feeling a bit nauseous. Need a dramamine.
