working poor
want to be depressed and feel like most americans, aka the working poor? check out playspent.org and try to make it through a month on what many americans are "living" on.
Great site. Have you read "Nickel and Dimed" by Barbara Ehrenreich on the subject of the working poor? It's a quick and easy read that every American should pick up. Another book that is more academic is "Chutes and Ladders" by Katherine Newman. She did a study that followed the working poor over the course of nine years.
