this is a 72 hour notice on a car in front of our neighbor's place. the car has been parked for at least 2 months. the 72 hour notice has been on the windshield for literally a week. tow it already.

fortunately, the car didn't actually hit the building. this is pretty amazing. just a small tree knocked over and a bush mangled.
and the sign for the armenian school that meets at this catholic church did get knocked over

Let me 'splain in my anti-truck rhetoric.
Truck drivers are jerks. I'm sure the driver saw the car and decided that they needed to be taught a lesson so they'd buy a bigger car and ran them off the road. Plain and simple.
I'm just kidding. It looks to me like someone changed lanes at the wrong time and caught a fender or perhaps got rear-ended.
i don't know for sure, but i have two theories.
one is that the car was in the middle lane, and changed lanes or tried to turn left in front of the truck. i see stuff like that all the time on this street.
theory two is that car was in front of truck, tried to turn, and was rear-ended and pushed.
it's hard to say, because the truck has so much body damage and car only has driver side rear bumper damage (that i'm assuming came from this). so, looking @ the front of the truck, i think it is probably my theory one.
