fresno kickball
fresnans, any of you out there interested in some kickball? i've been missing my sport fix since i stopped playing soccer. softball was aight, but just didn't do it for me. today i saw this, which led me to this. i'm interested.
it's for a kickball league that is starting in fresno. so, we get to play. if we sign up. i've sent them an email, and these people have expressed interest in it: heather brian adam
Mellow, they recommend that you subscribe to their email bulliten so that they have a good estimate of the people involved and so you can be kept up to date with the goings on.
not a problem. it would be quite eas to hook up some soccer uni's, the shirts at least.
depending on our team name, we could even get some sweet orlando pirates t shirts (they're a south african club). i actually just ordered some indoor soccer shoes that have some skull & crossbones on the side.
here's an email tv sent me, although you don't get the benefit of the drawing: 1. the black parts (stripes and shorts) should be navy blue, but i dont have the proper pen at work. 2. i wanted a shorter short, but thought men might not want them. 3. the shirt is fitted, its cuter that way. 4. i wasnt sure about the socks 5. lol, i cant believe i wasted time doing this
my response: 1.uhh, why would you have the black parts be navy blue and not black? 2. short lengths can vary. i have several black adidas soccer shorts, of varying length. as long as we all go w/black shorts, some difference is aight. 3.fitted shirts are only good on euros. and, last i checked, none of us are. trust me, nobody's gut is going to look good w/the shirt all tight on it. 4. well, white or black. or, depending on the other color we bring into the scheme. 5. i totally can
so, i think black is part of the proper color scheme. i would say we go w/one of these options: -black & orange - we're giants fans, and i've got a grip of orange shirts from fpu as well -black & white - sort of germany looking, the white shirt is not going to be all hot in the sun -black & yellow - well, two of us are tigers
really, black shorts are primo. i also think all of those different color shirts would go nicely with a pirate them.
and apparently someone that can count. we've got our minimum for gents, although it sure would be helpful to have like 6 more guys and 7 more ladies. you know, subs and such.
totally down for it. i could see the fresnan, famous whitewater being into it. in fact, famous posted something and i told him he could be on our team. not sure if either would be into it, but the fresnan may be intrigued due to his love for wiffle ball.

Ok I will join up but was there any info on when this is going to start and what nights or anything specifics? I am going to be picking up my marathon training this month and it really does take up a lot of my time so I may not be able to make them all.
And Mellow we are not all Giants fans, I favor the Dodgers. I was with Adam with yellow, black and orange is halloween to me (and hot), but whatever it sounds like you have already decided so I wont pout too much;)
